Simple Gemstone Divination A really easy way to bring gem magic to your divination is to use a method like this. What you will need is a selection of stones, roughly the same size and a small pouch to put them in.

Each stone will take on its own meaning based on its metaphysical properties and colour correspondences. You can then use the stones to answer questions, similar to how you might use witch stones or runes. You may like to chose and interpret the stones and there meanings yourself, but below is a list of the stones you might like to try:-

Rose quartz: Love, friendship, trust.

Sodalite: Peace, purification, sleep, healing and wisdom.

Amethyst: Spirituality, magic, psychic matters.

Black Tourmaline: Endings, transition.

Citrine: Creativity, travel, communication.

Carnelian: Fertility, sexual relationships, desire.

Red Jasper: Passion, anger, difficulties, protection.

Amazonite: Wealth, prosperity, health, good fortunes, nature, religion.

There is no definitive interpretation, you may choose stones and meanings which are completely different from these, but be sure you feel comfortable with your choices.

Cleanse and charge you stones and you would with any crystal. You may like to perform a ritual dedicating your stones to the Goddess and the God. Then place them in a little pouch, possibly a white or black one, and then you can begin to use your stones. Hold the pouch tightly in your hand. Focus your energies on the question you wish to ask, then, when you feel ready, without looking, pick one stone out of the bag and use your intuition to discover the answer the crystals are offering you.
