Whitewitch's Ostara Altar

OSTARA/SPRING EQUINOX RITUAL

By Whitewitch
With inspiration from Silver Ravenwolf and Patricia Monoghan.

Your altar should be dressed to set the scene
(use light green, yellow, pink candles and preferably a light green altar cloth)

Cleansing & Consecration of Altar.

Hands are held over the altar

(light the incense and let the incense smudge over the altar hold hands over the altar and say the following): -

I do cleanse and consecrate these items. May no evil nor negativity abide in thee. May the blessings of the Lord and Lady descend on our altar, so mote it be.

Sweeping and cleansing of the circle.

Sweep & Cleanse your circle, whilst saying:

Cleanse be
Safe be
All badness leaves thee

Casting the Circle

We conjure thee O Circle of Power, so that you will be a boundary
For me between the realms.
A place created in love, trust, peace and joy, containing the power we raise herein.
We call upon the Elements of East, the South, the West and the North to aid us. In the name of the Lord and the Lady the circle is cast.
