Coronet of candles, each flame a golden jewel.

The lord withdraws his cloak, yet retains his rule.
Lambs bleat season's greetings,
Springs essence on their breath.
As the lord and lady dance,
To bade goodbye to one seasons death.
For all that lies within their wake will surely be reborn.

Wine poured into chalice and taken from the Altar
Athame/Wand held over chalice and say: -

Great lord and lady we call to you to bring us blessings this Imbolc.
From the moon to the land
From the land to the vine
From the vine to the berry
From berry to juice
Blessings of the Lady
Strength of the Lord
Unity of love, to one and all

I consecrate this drink in the name of the Lord and the Lady.
May their blessings shower upon you through eternity.

Raise the chalice and say: -

To the Lord and Lady

Cakes taken off altar for blessing with Athame/Wand
Athame/Wand held over the cakes and say:-

Golden Energy of sun kissed grain
Precious drops of cleansing rain
Beams of moonlight from stems to bud
Bringing joy from up above.
Blessings of the Lady
Strength of the Lord
Unity of love, to one and all.

I consecrate these cakes in the name of the Lord and the Lady.
May their blessings shower upon you through eternity.
