Whitewitch's Relaxation Poppet

I finally finished my poppet, to be honest I only needed to stuff it and sew the hole up, I thought I would stuff it with cotton wool balls and fill it with lavender flowers and oil and hang it over my bed to promote relaxation and sleep... I had the best sleep ever last night, normally I wake up around 6 ish in the morning I actually slept till 9 I felt totally chilled out and even Posh & Becks didn't wake me I would recommend anyone to have a lavender pillow or something similar to hang over the bed, and have to admit that it smells divine whenever I walk upstairs!!

One good thing is if the smell wears off at least I can sprinkle a couple of drops on it. Anyway I am not a great needleworker and it's my first one I have ever done, I am chuffed with myself....! LOL.

Moonshadows Samhain Altar Cloth

This is an altar cloth for my altar for Samhain 2003. Once my sewing machine decided to co-operate it was fairly easy.

I took a 1 metre piece of black fabric with shiny gold moon & stars on and hemmed it all round. I then finished it off with some gold tassle fringe. Not bad for a first effort and easy to do.

Moonshadows Spell Pouches

Moonshadows Spell Pouches

Something else I've made myself, all it takes is a 95mm x 120mm piece of white cotton or muslin and some thread.

Then hem the top of the pouch and add decoration in a colour to suit your goal/purpose the fold it in half, machine or sew up the sides and turn right way out. Fasten with some twine, ribbon or thread in the appropriate colour and you have some nice homemade spell pouches at a fraction of the shop cost.
