Magical
Cross Stitch
Blessed
Be - Designed by Moonshadow
Here's a little design I put together,
although I haven't finished stitching it yet, you can
use any colours you like for the design, I stitching the
design in metallic gold & silver on dark blue 14 count
aida. I'll pop a photo on here of the finished design
when I finish it. To stitch the chart simply right click
on the image and select 'Print Picture' decide what colours
you want to use and stitch away. I'd love to see any photos
of this design that you do, so please email them to me.
Look out for my "Drawing Down The Moon" chart
and my ivy pentacle chart coming soon as well as some
other designs.

Best
Witches Card - Moonshadow

|
I
love cross stitching, but it was something I never seemed to
have time for anymore. I recently took it up again and stitched
this as a Samhain card. I'm rather pleased with the end result.
I used multi coloured metallic thread for the small stars and
it looks rather effective better than in this photo. You could
stitch this design with a different colour ribbon on the hat,
eg greens for a health wish, pinks for friendship etc.

Midnight
Ride
A Kreinik website design by Pam Kellogg
You will love the orange and forest green shading in this
witch's dress, the subtle effect of moonlight from glow-in-the-dark
colours, the eye-catching blend of thread textures (metallic
and cotton), not to mention the presence of a faithful
cat companion by her side as she wisps about on her besom.
Make it into a pillow or frame it for holiday decor.
Materials
needed to stitch this project:
1. Kreinik Metallic Gift Collection: Halloween, plus one
spool Kreinik Fine (#8) Braid 027
2. 25-count Zweigart Jobelan in Bonnie Blue (about a 16"
x 16" piece)
3. DMC cotton embroidery floss as listed in colour key
on the chart.
All
materials available either through the Kreinik
website or via your local kreinik stockist.
