Stonehenge has been a site that has not only drawn me to its power but probably millions of others, I love it there. I felt like I wanted to run past the rope and lay in the middle looking up at the sky and be there forever, as usual with these sites there were huge coach loads of tourists, and I was amazed how close I was to the site, only a 40 minute drive away from my house.

The cost to enter the site is £5.20 each you can also pick up an audio guide which is bit like a mobile phone and it advises you of the history and the main points of the site.  I was really saddened that I couldn't go up and touch the stones and I wish that I had done so all those years ago on my first visit but ... maybe one day.

 You can feel the energy from the stones, it's truly amazing.
